THE POCKET GOSPEL

THE POCKET GOSPEL IS A RELEVANT YET UNSENTIMENTAL PERFORMANCE ABOUT THE NECESSITY OF LOVE

In a storm long time ago a girl was born to fame

She wiggled like a little fish - and Mary was her name

This is how the story begins about a girl, a storm and a Christmas Eve long time ago. A story about believing that you can cope with everything yourself - and realizing that without love you are not going to succeed.

AGE: 6-10 YEARS

DURATION: 40 min

AVAILABLE LANGUAGE:
English & Danish

"The Pocket Gospel is both a verbal as a visual pearl that warms and cheers up all ages in all seasons in both the sight, the hearing and the heart. A great show. Alluring in its presence, a joyment in its form-perfect aesthetics and quite life affirming with its overweight of enjoyable text, a great interaction between Mandøe's precise and sensibility filled presence as narrator and Sørensens fine and small creations of animation on the screen in the background. Not many artists are able to, with deep and fatal gravity and such happy bubbling laughter to set such a story at sea"
