DOKK1 is the new public library in Aarhus. Here you will have the chance for exploring and activity as well as for tranquillity and contemplation.

DOKK1 is designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and is part of the conversion of Aarhus’ inner industrial harbour.

The Old Town is an open-air town museum with 75 historical buildings that were collected from 20 townships around Denmark. The largest section portrays the 1700s and 1800s, though it does contain buildings going back to the 1500s.

THE LATIN
QUARTER

The Latin Quarter is the oldest quarter in Aarhus, some of the buildings derive back to the 15th century. Here you will find a vibrant atmosphere and streets filled with special stores and cozy cafés.

ARoS is the main art museum in Aarhus and one of the largest museums in Northern Europe. On the roof of ARoS you can visit Your Rainbow Panorama – a 150 meter long, circular panoramic path with 360º views of the surrounding city.
