HOW TO GET HERE

The showcase takes place in the beautiful inner city of Aarhus in Denmark. Here you'll find all the practical informations that you need to know on how to get here:


AIRPORTS
Aarhus Airport (Tirstrup) is the nearest airport, about 45 minutes from the city.

 

Billund Airport is a 1½ hour ride by airport bus from Aarhus. By public bus it takes about 2 hours to get to/from the airport.
 

Aalborg Airport is, by train, between 1½-2 hours away from Aarhus.
 

Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) is about 3½ hours ride by train from Aarhus.
 

TRANSFER
Arriving from Aarhus Airport, you can take the airport bus to Aarhus just outside the airport. Look for route 925X airport bus. Since the bus is scheduled to time the arriving planes, there shouldn’t be a long waiting time for you. There are predefined stops along the route and in Aarhus the bus stops in front of the central railway station called 'Banegårdspladsen', where you should get off.

 

Tickets are sold directly on the bus. Accepted currencies are: DKK, SEK, NOK, US Dollars, GBP and Euros. You can also pay with a VISA, MasterCard and JCB.
 

Billund Airport is served by a few public busses. In order to get to Aarhus, you need to look for the bus 912X (a blue bus) located just outside the arrival hall (Bus 913X is also an option). When arriving in Aarhus the bus stops at the central railway station called 'Banegårdspladsen', where you should get off.

 

Tickets are sold directly on the bus. You can pay with a VISA, MasterCard, V Pay, JCB, China Union Pay and American Express as long as the card holds a chip. Accepted currencies are Euro, GBP, US Dollars, NOK, SEK, CHF. and DKK.
 
Arriving from
Copenhagen Airport, you have several options.
You can via the domestic terminal take a flight to Aarhus. SAS has the most connections; please visit their website for more information.

 

You can also travel with the intercity train to Aarhus (AARHUS H) directly from the terminal. It is approximately a 3-hour journey, for which we recommend you to make a seat reservation. You can use the journey planner at www.rejseplanen.dk to find a convenient train for your travel.

ARRIVING IN AARHUS
When you arrive at the central railway station, you’ll be able to reach the hotel by feet. It is only a 100-meter walk around the corner.
