AN EVERYDAY PHILOSOPHICAL MOMENT FOR 3-7 YEAR-OLDS
When you stop and look around, the world is full of little wonders right under your nose.
With video, music, light and ordinary objects, a small part of the world around us is transformed into a living and changing moment.
We stop time, and while we gaze out the window the landscape changes into a dreamlike and moving picture inside.
In this performance, we focus on the simple and ordinary and transform it into a small adventure in light and sound. Our times are characterised by endless possibilities of experiences, we can travel, shop, and be endlessly entertained, but once in a while, it's good to pause and just be in the here and now. Then, suddenly, the steam rising from a cup of tea can be magic to look at, or the light on a puddle reflecting the clouds, and the sounds inside and outside turn into musical landscapes.
"Gertrud Exner, when she is present on a stage, has a completely magnetizing effect on her audience. She attracts attention with her gentle and warm radiance, her clear and melodious voice and her dedicated and emotional movements."
"The joy of a cup of mint tea, a stone, a butterfly or a walk along the beach. From TeaterBlik's 'Moment', the joy of it all flows in a gentle stream towards the audience in Catherine Poher's quiet staging."
