A NONVERBAL CIRCUS PERFORMANCE ON AN OLD BENCH
Two female circus performers in a dance acrobatic duet with a scenography consisting of an old well-worn bench and an orange.
Impressive balances, feminine and powerful, straightforward and completely abstract. To the sound of Chopin, the two artists make playful encounters between body and bench.
Through balancing and body-bending movements they work with and on the bench, creating magical moments out of the in-betweens of life.
"An entertaining and fascinating experience. (...) Signe Løve Anderskov and Henriette Aarup are phenomenally skilled artists who mix circus acrobatics and dance theater for a strong physical expression - at once sensuous and tightly controlled. (...) funny and inventively composed positions explore and test the body's infinity of possibilities individually and together."
