Sjællands Teater presents BOX - a modern performance for young people about identity, friendship, and the fight to figure out who we really are.
Life can feel like a boxing match. Every round demands courage - the courage to show who we are, even when we're not sure ourselves. Caro, Eskild and Pil are getting ready for the weekend's boxing tournament. In the ring, they're opponents, each striving to come out on top. But as the gloves come off, they discover that the real battle isn't against each other, but within themselves.

Confusion, doubt, and the longing to belong are all part of growing up - whether you're Shakespeare's Hamlet or a teenager today. Through rivalry and friendship, the three learn that even when you feel isolated, you're never truly alone. Sometimes, it's only together that we can find out who we really are.

BOX was nominated for the Danish theatre price Reumert of the Year in 2025.

Based in both Holbæk and Slagelse municipalities and tour throughout the country with their children's and youth performances, which are offered as part of educational programs via the Teater I Skolen platform.
