A MULTIMEDIA PERFORMANCE ABOUT FEELING INVISIBLE

Jonas has started to feel invisible. The others look at their phones and walk past without seeing him. At first, he feels lonely and wrong.
Then he starts to like his non-existence. One day, as he sits in his own world on a bench in the park, he notices a very different girl sitting on the bench next to him. She looks directly at him.
Clara and Jonas become friends, and little by little, Clara reveals a difficult secret...
I SEE YOU is a performance about friendship and about feeling both invisible and too visible. It is created in a new and different stage language, where digital 'bluescreen' techniques meet analog puppet theater - together they create an expression that speaks directly into the digitalized everyday life of young people.

MERIDIANO TEATRET
MERIDIANO TEATRET was founded in 1996 by Italian dramatist and director Giacomo Ravicchio, actors Elise Müller and Lars Begtrup.
Magical realism, poetry, humour and a visual - almost cinematic - narrative form is characteristic of Giacomo Ravicchio's performances.

The theatre has created a sophisticated artistic idiom with performances that speak to the senses across cultures, generations and social backgrounds. The topics are mythical and existential, dealing with what it is to be human. The performances are composed musically, interweaving diverse theatrical forms in graceful rhythms. The theatre constantly explores new modes of expression in order to revitalize theatre as a form of expression and to create its unique universal idiom.
