ONE SEED, TWO MEN - THREE LIVES AND A BURGEONING BEGINNING!

One day, two tree-keepers receive a small seed that they have to plant and care for during its growth. But taking care of something so frail and new is no easy task.
So begins IN TIME, a story gently animating the simplicity and complexity of life for children and adults alike.
​
The two tree-keepers have to feel their way into their new roles and everyday life, whose small tasks and many routines bring about plenty of big emotions and important moments. They embark on the task with equal part enthusiasm, childlike stubbornness and parental pride. But how does one measure well-being and progress? By centimeters? By number of leaves?
The story revolves around a tall and marvellous wooden furniture cabinet with numerous hidden hooks, drawers and cupboards full of objects that fit right into our everyday chores, while at the same time offering a glimpse of the magical and thus the mundane and the unusual go hand in hand.

Teater Refleksion is a puppet theatre and has since 1990 created and devised theatre for children by telling simple and universal stories using puppets, music, very few words and by having a clear visual and aesthetic identity.

Andy Manley is a theatre artist based in the UK. He specializes in creating theatre for young audiences. He creates performances largely through devising, though he has also worked on several written project.
​
Claus Mandøe (De Røde Heste) is a playwright, actor and puppeteer, trained at Dell'Arte School of mime and comedy in California. He is the founder of De Røde Heste and has produced numerous solo performances.
​
​Claus and Andy are both two long time collaborators of Teater Refleksion. In IN TIME they are combining their creative minds and great acting with Teater Refleksion's special dedication to animating objects and visually whole performances.
